Raging Heroes: TGG2: Light and Darkness Update
Raging Heroes haben für ihren TGG2: Light and Darkness Kickstarter ein neue Update veröffentlicht, dass die Nummer 34 trägt und in dem sehr viele neue Bilder von Sculpts zu sehen sind.
Here is the full Update we promised you in Update #33. It should have come out yesterday, but when you’ll see how many images there are, you’ll understand the delay, which also came with a bonus: we received this morning the Daughters of the Orphanage 3D prints, and so we made a quick unboxing video just for you 🙂
Below you’ll find new sculpts, information about the status of the Manticore, preliminary info about the Pledge Manager, and a special sweet deal on our latest releases in our shop.
New Sculpts!
Here are the first 6 Death Dancers. There will be 4 more to come to make a full unit. As you can imagine, with their super complex anatomy and posing, the Death Dancers won’t be multiparts kit made for mix and match, unless you do a bit of conversions with them, which should be pretty fun should you feel so inclined.
What’s up with the Manticore?

As you probably remember, the Manticore was not unlocked during the Kickstarter campaign. But as it is such a big favorite of our range, it was a bit sad to miss the opportunity of releasing an updated version.At the same time, and as much as we would like to output all the cool and crazy things that fill up our heads, we have to stay realistic and not loose track of development costs and the budget side of thing. Even if this new version of the Manticore was not made from scratch, the hours spent cleaning the old sculpt, correcting technical problems in the sculpt, completely re-cutting the sculpt for better casting, re-printing such a massive piece, then creating completely new spincast moulds, well, all of this ends up pretty close to creating a new kit from scratch.
Especially on such a big piece, we could not say “OK, this is a bonus unlock” 🙁 But at the same time, while we cannot bring you the Manticore with the high Kickstarter discount, we still wanted to do something special for you.
And so, we are going to release the Manticore in our webshop at a special pre-order price. This pricing will be valid for a very limited time BUT when we open the pledge manager, you will be able to get the manticore at the same pre-order pricing. It will not be the Kickstarter discount but it will be a fairly good one. This means that you will be able to either get the Manticore next month in our webshop at pre-order pricing and have it delivered to you fairly quickly, or wait just a few more weeks for the pledge manager to open and add it to your selection, still at pre-order pricing and so, save on shipping fees as you combine it to your KS selection.

Unboxing the New 3D Prints

hmmmmm….hrmm.
die ersten weltraum-elfies von denen mochte ich sehr. schicke designs, elegant und zu der zeit den GW-Deldar hagashin vom aussehen her weit vorraus. so stand damals.
auf die dinger hier habe ich mich von tag1 an gefreut, als es nur ne blosse ankündigung war.
aber jetzt..? das wirkt mir alles VIEL zu überladen. weniger ist manchmal(oft!) so viel mehr..
einzig die knieende figur mit den extra-armen finde ich ganz schick, der rest.. schade drum. sehr, sehr schade.
na, vielleicht kommt ja noch ne „normalere“ edition heraus – hoffnung stirbt ja immer zuletzt 😉
Kann es nicht nachvolziehen….(was du als überladen beschreibst wäre bei einem gewissen anderen Marktbegleiter wohl Detailreichtum, aus meiner Sicht)
Die Delfen sind um Lichtjahre den GW Versionen vorraus (wobei diese ja nicht verkehrt sind)…aber Design ist halt Geschmackssache.
Ich finde die Atworks sind sehr gut umgesetzt. Die Minis wirken wie für eine ältere Zielgruppe gemacht (und dafür bin ich sehr dankbar).Sehr individuell und dynamisch.
Die SiFi Versionen finde ich nicht so schicke, aber liegt wohl eher am SiFi.
Mein Geld haben die Jungs schon und ich bin alles andere als enttäuscht.
Ehrlich gesagt habe ich sogar schonv ergessen, wieviel Geld die von mir haben, bin mit Paypal eingestiegen, daher habe ich das gefühl, dass ich da immer was verpasse und so. Da ich bei Kickstarter ja nicht als Backer auftauche, irgend wie habe ich noch nie einen Newsletter bekommen, obwohl das ja so sein sollte für die Paypalkäufer.
Freu mich trotzdem auf die Nonnen^^

Hammer Minis imo. Fand das Update schon vor Weihnachten gut. Aber dieses toppt es.
Sind auch Minis dabei, die man sich einfach nur in die Vitrine stellen möchte.
Hmm.. da ist durchaus ne „Golgotha“ für meine Dark Legion (WRZ) dabei 🙂

Ich freu mich schon sehr drauf.
Ist echt unglaublich, wieviele Minis die in diesem KS haben.
Vom neusten Update gefällt mir jetzt zwar nicht alles, aber es gibt so ne große Auswahl, da ist für fast jeden etwas dabei. 🙂
Mich würd mal interessieren, wann es voraussichtlich den Pledgemanager geben wird?
Slaanesh hat wohl richtig die Sau rausgelassen. Mir persönlich alles zu überzogen und karikiert, aber technisch sieht das schon krass aus, hätte bei diesen ganzen dünnen Zacken überall nur Angst, dass da schnell was abbricht.
Meine Frau und ich haben beim ersten Kickstarter ordentlich zugeschlagen.
Raging Heroes bekommt es unser Meinung nach bei (fast) allen Figuren hin, das Konzept in ein gutes 3D-Modell und anschließend in eine gute Miniatur zu übertragen
(Wir haben fast immer wenn ging Resin/Restic statt Metall ausgewählt).
Wer von Euch, der Figuren aus dem ersten Kickstarter hat, hat diese schon alle bemalt??
Wir finden es gibt noch viel zu wenig Bemal- und Inspirationsvorgaben im Netz jenseits der Studiobemalung. Da Raging Heroes für 600000 $ Figuren zu einen tollen Preis verscherbelt hat, müssen die doch irgendwo auf den Maltischen stehen…
Das ist in der Hinsicht eigentlich relativ normal. Wenn eine Miniatur z.b. auf 500 Kopien limitiert ist und ausverkauft, tauchen davon auch bestenfalls 50 wieder in den Malgruppen auf.
Bisher nur 2 geschafft. Habe aber auch ein paar verschenkt und der Rest ist für eine Projekt.
