Welcome to the world of THE WALKING DEAD: NO SANCTUARY, Cryptozoic’s intense new 2-4 player board game based on the hit AMC TV show. The game redefines the survival horror genre with gameplay that emulates the group dynamics from the series, as one player takes on the reins of Leadership and the other players can decide whether or not to support his or her choices. With every defied decision, Trust can decrease and Stress and tension can increase, diminishing Group Morale and placing all the survivors in serious danger. Each player must balance his or her own motivations (which cannot be shared with the others) with the needs of the group, making survival much more complex than simply mowing down countless numbers of the dead.

Designed by the award-winning team of Adam and Brady Sadler, this is the game fans of The Walking Dead have been waiting for! With stunningly detailed miniatures, get ready to play as your favorite characters like Rick Grimes, Glenn Rhee, Andrea Harrison, and—of course—Daryl Dixon. The Scenarios are directly based on the events of the TV series.

STRETCH GOALS  

It may be the apocalypse, but we’ve still got some cool stretch goals for you to unlock, including new miniatures, gameplay elements, Scenarios, cards, and more! Here’s a quick look at our first Stretch Goal!

GAMEPLAY

This isn’t your typical survival horror game in which you attempt to eliminate each other and take out as many of the undead as possible. In THE WALKING DEAD: NO SANCTUARY, you have to work together to win. One player becomes the Leader and tries to get the others to follow his or her Approach. If the other players defy their Leader, Trust falters and Stress builds. This can result in a new Leader taking over and in Group Tension, which can reduce Morale. If Group Morale hits zero, you all lose. Likewise, if one of the survivors dies, the entire team loses. In other words, you better find a way to work as a team!

In the game, each player picks one of four Survivors, each of whom comes with unique character boards and card decks, allowing him or her to perform abilities that directly reflect the character’s attributes on the show. Players must cooperate with their teammates to overcome six different Scenarios, which draw from the show’s storylines and consist of several objectives each.

The endlessly riveting gameplay will take you right into the world of The Walking Dead, as you experience all the horror, action, and drama of the TV show!

The miniatures in the game are 35mm and utilize a 95-degree PVC process, making them sturdy and highly detailed, yet not brittle. With our painstaking attention to detail on the sculpts, you can be sure the minis will resemble their counterparts from the TV show.

he base game includes stunning figures for the four playable characters—Rick, Glenn, Andrea, and Daryl—as well as for the different Walkers and other antagonists. Each expansion will come with an additional four playable characters, as well as more Walkers and miscellaneous other figures.

Shipping will be charged after the Kickstarter campaign ends through our Pledge Manager. The amount charged will be based on the ACTUAL cost required to ship you your games, stretch goals, and add-ons. Depending on where you live, we’ll either ship from the EU, Asia, Australia (Australia and New Zealand backers), or here in the States (backers in the U.S.A. and the rest of the world).

To give you a sense of shipping costs, it will likely cost around $10 to ship to the U.S., $15 to Australia, $15-$25 to the EU and Canada, and $50 to South America and certain parts of Asia. Please remember: These are rough ESTIMATES, so the cost of shipping may be higher or lower depending on the stretch goals unlocked, the tiers you specify, the add-ons you select, and other choices you make.
