JoeK Minis: Argonauten Previews

Die Argonauten-Miniaturen sind fast fertig.

Hi folks!

I’m pleased to say that the honourable Rob Huntley (cast master for Warploque Miniatures) has been hard at work. All the moulds for the Argonauts have been made, and production is due to start from next week (yay!).

The way things will go is that I’ll be working on a steady flow of casts regularly, and as soon as I receive ‚em they’ll be packaged up and sent through to one and all. We’ll go as fast as possible, and I’ll be informing each of your personally as soon as your rewards are packaged and sent through. I’m estimated the first load will be sent through in the next couple of weeks, and then full steam ahead! I’ll also be sending masters to my other caster – Rob Alderman of Hysterical games – so we’ll be attacking on twin fronts to get things out asap to everyone!

Honestly – we’ll all be going as fast as we can!

As a bit of a treat, feast your eyes on some casts of everything!

In other news, thank you to those who’ve been busy using the pledge manager and getting your choices back to me. There’s still quite a lot of folk who have yet to do it, but I’ve got a lot of numbers for things already, so we’re well on the way!

Regarding the pledge manager – because of how labour intensive all the casting is, I’ve taken the decision to NOT open up the pledge manager to non-backers until all the backer rewards have been sent out. The last thing I want is to get overwhelmed with things, and I suspect this might have happened had I opened things up. Rest assured that no matter what, all rewards WILL have been posted before things go on sale to the general public! Promise!

Finally – Stephane has been making progress on Poseidon! Things have been hindered somewhat with the weather…hot days and bakeable clay are not a great mix to get the sharp lines and lovely details that we all want to see, but we are heading in the right direction…check out the pretty pics:
