Hello wargamers, it’s time for another #Teasertuesday. This week we’re showing off more Praesidian Concept art with the Praesidian Swift.

Praesidian Swift

The Swifts are the fast response unit of the Praesidian Republic. They use their jetpacks to quickly move around the battlefield and address the most pressing threats.

Their armored suit is environmentally sealed, meaning they can operate in space, making them perfect boarding troops.

The jetpacks the Swifts use are connected to the wearer’s armour, and are controlled with a specific set of muscle movements, leaving the operator’s hands free to use weapons and equipment.

In-game, the Swift offers incredible speed and maneuverability. With a movement value of 10 thanks to the jetpack, the Swift can move around the battlefield very quickly.

Swifts have access to a variety of close quarters weaponry, including flamethrowers and shotguns. They are best used as a hit and run unit, moving out from cover and firing into the enemy from close range.

Their speed also makes them excellent for late-game objective grabbing. Place your Swift in cover close to an objective, use their energy rifle to shoot any enemy that approaches, and then move them onto the objective in the last turn.
