Mit Leman Russ, dem Primarchen der Space Wolves kommt von Forge World ein weiterer Charakter für die Horus Heresy.

Master of the Space Wolves Legion and Lord of icy Death World of Fenris, Leman Russ was an incomparable warlord, ferocious beyond measure and faultlessly loyal to the Emperor and his Imperium. Known as the Wolf King and the Lord of Winter and Ruin, as undoubtedly as savage as Leman Russ was, he was also wise beyond his Legion’s barbaric appearances and self-aware to a degree few guessed at, which made him doubly dangerous.
At Prospero his loyalty and foresight were used against him by the machinations of Horus, as he was loosed upon his brother Magnus. What was to follow was one of the darkest hours of the Imperium’s history, as Space Marine was set against Space Marine in war unto the death. The Burning of Prospero was a conflict eclipsed only by the nightmare civil war that came after.
Fighting with a ferocity and skill far beyond anything human, Leman Russ wields the sword of Balenight, known as Mjalnar, an ancient blade whose dark legend stretched back to the Age of Strife; and Helwinter, Russ’ great frost axe, its murderous edge made with the kraken-teeth of a mighty beast Russ slew himself. His warplate is a suit of singular artificer power armour, incorporating unique exothermic field generators, otherwise unknown of in the Imperium’s arsenal of technology.
Leman Russ, Primarch of the Space Wolves is part of The Horus Heresy Character Series. Russ’ exceptionally detailed armour features runes, pelts and the markings of the Space Wolves Legion along with a range of ranged and close combat weapons. He is depicted charging to battle through the ruins of Prospero, featuring icons of the Thousand Sons Legion, with a larger removable scenic base.

This is a complete, multi-part resin kit. It includes a 40mm gaming base and 60mm scenic base. It is presented in a black Horus Heresy Character Series box.

Hm. Für den Preis hätte ich schon erwartet, dass er seine beiden Wölfe dabei hat!
Wäre sicher cool gewesen einen oder beide Wölfe bei Russ zu sehen, aber ist leider nicht so. Ich glaube das 300BGP Bundle wird das weihnachtsgeschenk von mir an mich. 😀
Vorsicht dabei, günstig ist das Bundle nicht gerade. Du zahlst für Russ, die Waffen und die Rüstungen (für 30 mkIII Rüstungen) 170 GBP (lose) + 16 GBP für die Transfers. Bleiben 124 GBP für die Box, rechnet man das jetzt um finde ich die BOX alleine zu teuer – je nach Umrechnungskurs 140-150€ finde ich zu teuer im Vergleich zur 125€ Preisempfehlung. „Deals“ sind bei Forgeworld eher mit vorsicht zu geniessen.
Das Probelm unter 250 GBP zahlst du halt Porto, was bedeutet dass FW die Porto Kosten mit auf den Boxed Preis aufgeschlagen hat.
Meine Meinung:
Wenn du es dir Leisten kannst, bestell die Sachen einzeln und runde es mit anderen Dingen auf 250 GBP ab und Kauf dir die Prospero Box in Deutschland für 112,5 (bei nem Händler deines Vertrauens).
Dir fehlt da was in deiner Rechnung.
Die Forgeworld Sachen kosten normal 206 GBP, damit bleiben noch 94 GBP für die Box.
Damit zahlt man aber auch so um die 110€ dafür. Also trotzdem kaum was gespart 😉
Bundle die nur aus Forgeworld Produkten bestehen lohne da oft mehr.
Eigentlich ein schönes Modell und für Forgeworld echt super bemalt, wenn denn dieses Brett von einem Fell nicht wäre, das da so vom Rück wegsteht.
Ja, das hab ich auch schon gedacht – der Mantel sieht so arg statisch aus. Wundert mich auch.
Hätte mir aber auch gewünscht, Russ etwas mehr an das Cover von Prospero Burns anzulehnen…da fand ich den Topknot EINMAL gut und jetzt erinnert er mich eher an Brad Pitts Achilles. Naja, muss der halt in der Bemalung etwas bärtiger gestaltet werden. Und nen Haarzopf bekommt man da sicher auch noch drauf.
Ich setz mir das mal für mein Heresy-Projekt auf die Liste.
Der Grav-Panzer gefällt mir grundsätzlich besser. Aber die Technologie und das Design erscheint mir für das Imperium schon sehr feingeistig. Die Custodes als Elite der Elite gefällt mir irgendwie auch nicht so wirklich als Spielkomponente. Aber ist wahrscheinlich Geschmackssache.

Mir fehlt hier das besondere Etwas, das z.B. Guilliman hat und ihn von den anderen 17 Primarchen abhebt.
Schade, dass Freki und Geri fehlen. Die beiden sind für zumindest auf dem Schaltfeld immer Begleiter für Russ gewesen.
Das Design von Grav Panzer scheint gelugen, wobei er etwas „schmucklos“ ist. Wenn ich die alten Art Works von den Custodes Jet-Bikes anschaue sind diese (wie die Custodes selbst) voller Aquila Motive.
Hmm , halt ein weiterer Riesenkerl unter Riesenkerlen.
Ja mit Spacemarines ist das halt so , man mg sie oder man mag sie nicht.
Aber gefühlt sind die in letzter Zeit selbst f ür GW/FW Verhälltnisse immer schwächer.
Dem Fanboy geht halt einer ab wenn auf der Servo Rüstung ein winziges Detail anders aussieht als in er MK. X .
Aber nüchtern betrachtet , und das kann ich das mir SM schlicht völlig egal sind , gießen die immer wieder den selben Sud auf.
Das da jetzt irgendwelche Custodes „Super-Super-Duper“ ( Macht beachte das 2te Super! ) Marines rausbegracht wurden ist irgendwie wohl zwar ein leichter Trend nach oben , aber weg reißen mag das den neutralen Beobachter auch nicht.
Rus schaut schon beeindruckend aus , aber das tut er eben genau so wie all die Primaten vor ihm auch. Riesen Base, Riesen Sockel auf dem er steht um noch größer zu wirken.
Und Höher als ein Panzer. Irgendwie willdie Ästetik mich einfach nicht überzeugen , da rocken die Symb. Kulte wesentlich mehr.
Hatte den Wolf schon in der Hand. Leistet auch net mehr, als so manch anderer Hersteller. Gussblasen sind auch wieder drinne. Der Umhang zerlegt mich jetzt auch net vor Dynamik und der Rest ist halt „Space Marine Nr 32534 mit anderen Kiki an der Rüstung“. Für 80 Euro kriegt man anderswo halt schon 2-3 Figuren gleicher Größe und Qualität ( bzw besseres).
Wems gefällt, den bockts eh net, aber aus rein „nüchterner Betrachtung“ ist das Ding sein Geld nicht wirklich wert :/
