Verflucht! Eine neue Mini!
Norsgard haben eine neue Miniatur herausgebracht: The Cursed.
The war against demons demanded tremendous sacrifices. Over its course, some of the Ice Elves willingly condemned themselves to never-ending torment by allowing demons to claim their bodies. During the possession process, elven sorceresses had cast enchantments to enable the volunteers to hold sway over the infernal creatures. Thanks to this desperate measure, the Ice Elves were reinforced by warriors of unparalleled strength, who strode to battle without a fear in their minds. Their presence was at once a living proof of how terrible the fate of their kin would be were they to lose the war.
The warrior-women who submitted themselves to this lot live in eternal torture. Their frames are misshapen by raging demons bent on breaking free from the cages that elven flesh had become to them. Out of battle, they are under constant supervision of the sorceresses, whose spells prevent the demons of escaping the snare into which they had fallen. The only solace the Cursed may ever know is in the heat of battle, the one time when the demons’ fury as well as the elves’ suffering are directed outwards instead of inwards – at the foe.

Fieser Fluff, aber die Mini gefällt mir nicht jetzt nicht so gut.
Warum geht mir gerade „Heavy Metal“ durch den Kopf?
Die Mini könnte auf ein Plattencover der 80er passen. 🙂
Von dem Hintergrundtext her hätte ich mir eine dämonische Besessenheit anders vorgestellt als eine ins lächerlich Große deformierte Hand. Hätte man eventuell etwas anders darstellen können – so ist die Mini jetzt nicht unbedingt mein Fall.
Schön oldschool, und sicherlich ganz spaßig zu bemalen.
Ich mag die Norsgard-Minis, die Qualität ist prima und die Bemalung macht Spaß. Mit der übergroßen Hand habe ich keine Probleme – die alten Skaven und die Mortheim-Besessenen lassen grüßen. Durch einen anderen Hautton/Farbverlauf könnte man zudem die Transformation und das Wüten des Dämons noch stärker herausstellen, das passt dann schon.
Lediglich das Schwert im Surfbrettformat würde ich wohl durch etwas anderes, schlankeres und fieses ersetzen.
