Mini of the Day: Peace and Tranquility

Passend zu den hoffentlich ruhigen Feiertagen und den stark gesunkenen Temperaturen kommt unsere heutige Miniatur des Tages. Das Modell stammt von CMON User Tinman12 und stellt eine japanische Geisha dar. Nicht überraschen dürfte weiterhin, dass das Modell kurz vor Weihnachten einen historischen Malwettbewerb gewann.

18th Century Geisha. Lots of hours in this piece. It took a month to do the pond alone seeing there are 15 layers of resin. The fish are 3 layers each and were inspired by Riusuke Fukahori (a true artist). It received Gold at the 2014 MMSI historical open category.
