We have done our best to give you as much access to information on the campaign page as possible so that the “campaign backer” (that’s you) is able to make an informed decision on whether this is a project that you would like to support. We want to be as transparent as possible with you all and will endeavour to answer any questions you may have when the project goes live. We are here to make a great game, not to be dishonest.

Rules: We will be releasing the quick start rules before the Kickstarter so you can see how the mechanics work.

Apart from building your warband and battles, you will have the option to visit a town after each game. In town you can choose to go to the Tavern to recruit new members and heroes, The Market to purchase new items and equipment, the Arena to watch pit fighting and maybe pick up a few pointers. Lastly the Temple, where you can prey to the gods to heal your wounds or ask for their blessing in future battles. In addition to visiting these places, you have the option of rolling on one of four unique “random encounter charts”. For example, whilst having a quiet drink in a local tavern, you stumble across the local gambling den or a bar fight might break out. Random encounters will have either a benefit or drawback for that character. It’s up to you if you want to take the risk.

Pledge Levels: Initially, we will have pledge levels ranging from $1aus to $155aus. More levels will follow if we meet our stretch goals. So, if you just want a single miniature or want to go all out with a few warbands and a rulebook, we will have you covered.

Community Involvement: If we make it to the 6th stretch goal, from there onward we will be collaborating with the gaming community to help decide on the miniature poses, weapons, faction headgear etc. Polls will be open on our website during the campaign so you can cast your votes and have your say on what you would like to see.

If you believe in our project as much as we do, we are going to need your help in getting the word out. So post campaign information on forums (but don’t spam please), tell people in your social media communities, spread the word at your local gaming club, tell your neighbour, tell you mum and dad. We need as many people as possible to help out and make this a success.

High-quality miniatures: For those of you that have seen our first production miniature (Shadow Hold Troll) sculpted by Justin Bintz, you will see that the miniature is of high quality, needing little to no prep work before painting. They will be made of high quality resin that has been used by Maxmini in all their miniatures, and will be supplied with lipped bases.

Playtester Feedback: the campaign will feature playtester feedback for your information and benefit.

Shipping: As soon as products arrive to us after the campaign, we will ship them out to you. So if we get them early, then you get them early.

Free items for pledge levels: If the campaign starts hitting its stretch goals we will give free items to certain pledge levels. This may be Twelve Elements of War game dice or weapon conversion packs. It all depends on levels reached.

The Future: What you will see in this campaign is just the beginning of a massive fantasy world. We have additional supplements planned, hundreds of miniatures ready to be designed and conversion packs all planned out.
