We have winessed the birth of Metamorphosis and the revival of the C.O.R.E., but now, from of the flaring sands of the east, the blazing subterranean dwellings of the Dragyri, and even the very sky above, new threats rise to challange the factions of Samaria.
Dark Age Conflagration is the newest expansion book for the Dark Age Miniature game line. Conflagration contains 140 full color and beautifully illustrated pages nestled in a hardcover binding. Inside readers will find generic forcelist additions to all of the factions as well as the forcelist of the new Kukulkani, Ancient warriors imbued with alien technology hell bent on sacrificing every living thing they come across for their alien masters. The Dragyri Sub-Faction of the Fire Caste, unlike their Air and Ice Cousins the Fire Caste use alien technology and what can be deemed dishonorable methods. The new Outcast Sub-Faction of the Slavers of Chains Barrow, these ruthless Outcasts capture and enslave those they come across without mercy or morals to fight for their amusement or greater gain.
All contents have been written to work in conjunction with the new 2013 Core Rules.

Ach, ich mag das Dark Age Zeug einfach. Der Hintergrund ist super, die Figuren find ich fast alle gut, die Regeln werd ich demnächst mal antesten, sollen aber nicht schlecht sein. Hab das letzte Regelbuch hier, ist auch ordentlich aufgemacht.
Leider wird der Dollarpreis jedenfalls hier in Dtschl. 1:1 auf Euro umgemünzt, was das System nicht so wirklich günstig macht. Bevor aber jemand schreit, wie teuer die Einzelfiguren hier in den News sind, es handelt sich um größere Kreaturen als Menschengröße.
Der US Preis ist ja auch immer ohne Steuern.
In DE sind die Preise mit selbigen, dazu kommen noch die Versandkosten über den Teich, das läppert sich.
Aber schick sind die Minis alle samt.
Dark Age ist auch wieder so ein TT, mit dem ich immer wieder liebäugle. Setting und Minis finde ich klasse. Vielleicht hole ich mir das Regelbuch, das sieht ebenfalls hochwertig aufgemacht aus.

Dark Age gehört für mich zu den Systemen, die ich unbedingt mal ausprobieren möchte. Einige der neueren Figuren finde ich einfach klasse, auch wenn ich keinen Plan hab, was das für Fraktionen sind und wie die zusammen passen.
