Warhammer 40.000: Priest of Mars
Black Library haben neues Artwork vorgestellt, dass den kommenden Priests of Mars Roman von Graham McNeill zieren wird.
There has been a wave of new artwork coming into Black Library this month, and some of it is truly spectacular. We wanted to share some of the best with you.
This cyclopean scene is from the cover of Priests of Mars, the upcoming Graham McNeill novel that follows an explorator fleetinto uncharted space. This is the first Black Library cover from Slawomir Maniak, and it really conveys the scale and apocalyptic darkness of the Warhammer 40,000 universe (expect to see more from Mr Maniak in future).
The central character himself is not your usual Black Library protagonist, no super human warrior in gleaming armour, but a hunched and dishevelled priest who really captures the essence of the techno wizardry of the mechanicum.

Mensch, und ich dachte, die Überschrift heisst, dass Mechanicus für 40k kommt. So als Armee. xD
Keine Sorge, Du warst nicht alleine mit Deiner Vermutung. Ich hatte auch shcon Angst um meinen Geldbeutel. Ich kenn da noch jemanden…*pfeif*
Ich hab auch gedacht das Adeptus Mechanicus bekommt einen eigen Codex … und wieder eine bittere enttäuschung. 🙁
Aber ein neuer Mechanicus Roman ist auch okay! 😉
Wieso das Admech habe ich mir schon vor Jahren gebaut. Kann man wunderbar spielen (nur nicht gewinnen;) ). Motto: Mars macht mobil!
Nein, freu mich über jeden Roman mit den Maschinenfreunden. Da bin ich ja gespannt. Hauptsache wir warten nicht wieder so lange.
Also ich hab mir den 40K Mars irgendwie anderes vorgestellt. Bebauter, mit Rauchwolken am düsteren Himmel.
Das Bild schaut doch irgendwie recht idyllisch aus

Also ich denke nicht, dass auf dem Bild der Mars dargestellt ist. Der Roman handelt von einer Explorator Flotte, also dürfte es irgendein unbekannter Planet sein (man stelle sich hier das Star Trek Intro vor…nur mit blecherner Stimme gesprochen)
