Cygnar Firefly, Cryx Ripjaw, Protectorate Vigilant: fast alle haben wir bereits hier vorgestellt. Was wir nicht wußten: sie alle sind aus Plastik!
Privateer Press hat nach dem Erfolg des Schweren Myrmidon Multipartkits für die Vergeltung von Scyrah ähnliche Boxen für die anderen Fraktionen angekündigt. Dazwischen war auch der ein oder andere leichte Warjack zu sehen. Nun kündigt Privateer Press an, dass diese ebenfalls aus Plastik sein werden. Im Gegensatz zu ihren großen Brüdern scheint man mit diesen Bausätzen nur jeweils eine einzige Variante bauen zu können.

The Ripjaw’s pincer-like jaws are used to hold its victims in place while its bone saw cuts them into mangled and unidentifiable bits. Necrotechs take particular delight in using the Ripsaw, as its victims are left in pieces easily utilized in their gory fabrications. In spite of its lethal armaments, the Ripjaw’s most dangerous weapon is its arc node. Quick and agile like its brethren, the Ripjaw ultimately serves to carry its masters’ dark will to the enemies of Cryx. This box contains parts necessary to assemble two Ripjaw bonejack plastic models. The Vigilant’s twin fist-mounted shields make it an incredibly durable light warjack. The tremendous area covered by its towering shields provides nearly unassailable shelter from even the most devastating of enemy artillery fire. Warcasters favor the Vigilant for its great utility, not only is it like a small, mobile battlement but since it carries no weapons its hands are free to hurl enemy combatants about like ragdolls. The ‘jack’s unsophisticated weaponry and cortex make it easy and inexpensive to manufacture, ensuring its place among the Menite crusaders for years to come. A player may field any number of Vigilant light warjacks in a Protectorate of Menoth army.

Das die aus Plaste kommen war aber schon lange bekannt, war ja eigentlich der Sinn und Zweck dieser „Neuauflagen“…
Die schweren Warjacks ja. Aber es geht hier um die drei genannten (und uach neuen) leichten Warjacks. Die Scyrah-LWs sind z.B. auch noch aus Metall. Zusätzlich, zumindest will es die Gerüchteküche (und die Ankündigung widerspricht dem auch nicht, bestätigt aber auch nix), scheint es sich bei den leichten nicht um Multipartkits zu handeln obwohl die Warjacks, leichte wie schwere, auf lediglich 1-2 Grundchassis aufbauen. Das ist ja im Moment auch so: wenn ich mir einen Blister mit einem leichten Myrmidon kaufe und wenig später einen zweiten von einem anderen Typ, sind 90% der Bauteile exakt gleich. Insofern hätte auch hier ein Multipartkit Sinn gemacht.
Macht es nicht
1. Stellt man mehr leichte als schwere jacks (ausser Khador vielleicht)
2. Hat PP erkannt das ihr größter Umsatzfeind Magnete sind also bekommt man die Teile nur wenn man auch den Rest kauft also kann man den Jack auch gleich fest zusammen Bauen.
Letzteres wird wohl der hinterhältige aber genauso nicht öffentliche Grund sein.
PS: Auf der PP Seite stand doch schon länger das es Plaste Modelle sein werden.
