Relic Knights: Kickstarter zur 2. Edition

Relic Knights: 2nd Edition is an anime-themed miniatures skirmish game featuring breathtaking models from Soda Pop Miniatures. In this dynamic miniatures game you control a heroic Knight and their enigmatic cypher. Fighting at their side are the warriors, psychics, and soldiers of the Last Galaxy. Relic Knights features a diceless, card-based game mechanic that puts you in control of your forces through managing esper to unleash devastating attacks, gallant defenses, and achieve strategic goals on the field of battle.

The goal of this Kickstarter is to fund a brand new edition of Relic Knights, featuring a fully updated rulebook, resculpts of many existing models, all new models to expand and customize your forces, the first Relic Knights expansion book—Void Break—and a brand new 2-Player Starter to make it easier than ever to join the battle for the fate of the Last Galaxy!

This book covers complete unit profiles for every faction, including two brand new units per faction, and a host of new Void and Radiant units to supplement your cadres! This sleek rulebook is easy to take to game night and use as a complete reference during your games!

The 272 page Darkspace Calamity background book is your indispensable guide to the Last Galaxy and the Relic Knights universe. Darkspace Calamity features the original storyline from 1st edition, completely rewritten and updated for new audiences, complete faction backgrounds, unit bios, a history of the Last Galaxy, miniature galleries, hobby guide, and pages of stunning new art.

Erweiterungsbuch:

Void Break is the next chapter following the events of the Darkspace Calamity. War has come to the Last Galaxy and every faction must fight for their survival. Hidden from view, the maleaach seek to further their goals and consume the galaxy in the cold emptiness of the Void.

The Void Break expansion continues the saga of the Last Galaxy, introducing four new units to each faction, including a new Relic Knight and a new Questing Knight. Void Break also introduces the first Avatar, a new unit type that is a living embodiment of esper.

Kartendeck:

The 2nd Edition Upgrade Deck includes all the cards needed to update your entire collection of Relic Knights miniatures for use in 2nd Edition.

In folgendem Abschnitt erklären Soda Pop, wie genau Kickstarter-Exclusive-Modelle gehandhabt werden:

Pinup models are alternative sculpts that are an exclusive reward for backers who pledge directly through Kickstarter during the fifteen days of the campaign. Pinup models will NOT be available via late pledges or the Void Pledge. Pinup models have identical game profiles to their standard versions.

Darkspace models are new sculpts of existing units in unique ‚cosplay‘ outfits. These models work for different factions than their non-Darkspace counterparts, and feature both new models and new game profiles fitting their costume change. Darkspace models will be available through the Kickstarter, pledge manager (including late backers), conventions, and special web promotions.

This campaign only scratches the surface of what we have prepared for the future of Relic Knights! Beyond a small number of units we may preview during the campaign, Void Break includes an additional three units for every faction which will NOT be a part of this Kickstarter. This will provide us with months of new releases that were not part of this Kickstarter, ensuring that you will have many exciting new units to look forward to after receiving your rewards.

Ascension

After Void Break, our third book Ascension is already in progress. Ascension will include an exciting new unit type—Avatars—which can lead your cadres in battle.

Organized Play and Ninja Corps

Relic Knights already has a devout fan base, represented by its Ninja Corps volunteers. These enterprising fans run tournaments, leagues, and events across the globe and are the real heroes in the Relic Knights universe. Ninja Division is devoted to supporting our Ninja volunteers and fans in anyway we can, and look forward to growing Relic Knights community together. Part of the joy of Relic Knights is building your own unique cadre to do battle. In addition to your pledge, you can pick and choose your favorite units to add to your pledge and build your cadre. To purchase add-ons use the Manage Pledge button to increase your pledge by the value of the add-ons you wish to receive. After the campaign, you will use our store-based pledge manager to select the units you want your funds to go towards.

1st edition Relic Knights had a mix of plastic and resin miniatures. 2nd Edition is moving exclusively to resin models. The plastic miniatures are available in limited quantities only and at 50% off MSRP or more! Once they are sold out they will receive a future resculpt in resin. This Kickstarter is your best opportunity to get your hands on these classic Relic Knights miniatures before they are gone forever!

Stretch Goals:

Was wäre ein Kickstarter ohne Stretch Goals?

Once Relic Knights has funded we have an opportunity to unlock even more great content through stretch goals. As our funding total increases, stretch goals will unlock and become available. There are three types of stretch goals in this campaign:

• FREE stretch goals are included free to both the Questing Knight and Relic Knight pledges.
• ADD-ON stretch goals are new units that you may increase your pledge total if you wish to receive the unit.
• ADD-ON UPGRADE stretch goals are free upgrades to an add-on unit. Typically, add-on upgrades are alternate model pieces which allows you to create a variant pose that adds a new ability to the unit.

Shipping will be charged after the campaign through our store-based pledge manager, based on the actual cost to ship your pledge and any additional rewards you select.

To help minimize your shipping and customs costs, we will ship rewards to multiple international shipping hubs at our cost (US, EU, CN, and AU). These hubs ship all rewards to backers in their region. Depending on your region, this will help reduce or eliminate any additional import duties you will be required to pay.

Our current estimate for shipping costs are listed below.

• Africa: $50 – $60 to most countries
• Asia: $15 to China and Hong Kong, $30 – $40 to most other countries.
• Canada: $15 – $30 to most cities.
• Europe: $15 – $20 to Western Europe. $20 – $30 to Northern Europe. $30 – $40 to Eastern and Southern Europe.
• Latin America: $60 – 70 to most countries.
• Oceania: $15 – $25 to Australia. $30 to New Zealand.
• UK: $12 – $18 to most cities.
• USA: $12 – $18 to most cities. $30 to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

Please note that these are ESTIMATES ONLY and may change as we unlock more items, if you purchase additional rewards, or choose rewards spanning multiple shipping waves.

Relic Knights will ship in three waves. We anticipate all three waves will be complete by the end of February 2018. We currently estimate the following window for each wave.

• Wave 1 late summer 2017.
• Wave 2 fall/winter 2017.
• Wave 3 by the end of February 2018.

After the campaign ends we will use frequent Kickstarter updates to keep you informed of the progress of each wave’s development and provide specific timelines for each delivery wave.
